Training session 3: Creative and participatory methods

This session builds on ideas from the first training session and focuses on how to collect useful information for community research.

We’ll begin with a recap of the previous session and outline what we’ll cover next.

We’ll look at the role of consent and how to work with existing data.

Participants will explore different ways to design and use surveys, both online and in person, before lunch.

In the afternoon, we’ll dig into interview techniques, listening skills, and running focus groups. As always, there will be time for discussion, reflection, and preparation for the next session.
