Training session 2:
Methods for collecting data

This session builds on ideas from the first training session, and focuses on how to collect useful information during community research.

We’ll begin with a recap of the previous session and outline what we’ll cover next.

We’ll look at the role of consent, and how to work with existing data.

Participants will explore different ways to design and use surveys, both online and in person, before lunch.

In the afternoon, we’ll dig into interview techniques, listening skills, and how to run focus groups. As always, there will be time for reflections, questions, and preparation for the next session.
